A crowd of 23,795 was on hand as the O-Royals sent Rosenblatt Stadium out in style by sweeping Round Rock. Omaha's Mike Moustakas wasted no time in extending his hitting streak and his RBI streak to eight games as he launched a two-run blast in the first.

Omaha won a third straight over Round Rock. Brian Bannister made a rehab start, holding the Express scoreless on five hits while striking out two over 3 1/3 innings. Bannister threw 57 pitches, 36 for strikes.
