The Detroit Lions have added depth on both sides of the ball. Detroit re-signed offensive tackle Jon Jansen and linebacker Vinny Ciurciu to one-year contracts Thursday. Jansen started twice and played in 11 games last season for the Lions. Ciurciu helped out on special teams in nine games last season for them.

Free agent wide receiver Nate Burleson has joined the Detroit Lions. Burleson tweeted Saturday morning: "It is official so "Go Lions." Media reports had the Lions agreeing to terms on a $25 million, five-year contract with Burleson on Friday, but the team wouldn't comment and his agent did not return a phone message.
